Clear terms.
No surprises.
These Terms explain the conditions that apply when you visit the PhotoCorral website, purchase PhotoCorral, receive the software and use our related services.
These Terms apply to the website at photocorral.app and to purchases of PhotoCorral made directly through PhotoCorral. If you purchase through an authorised third-party marketplace or reseller, additional marketplace or transaction terms may also apply.
Agreement to these Terms
By using the PhotoCorral website, placing an order or purchasing PhotoCorral, you agree to these Terms to the extent applicable to your use or transaction.
Your installation and use of the PhotoCorral desktop application is also subject to the PhotoCorral Software Licence .
Our handling of personal information is described in the PhotoCorral Privacy Policy .
About PhotoCorral
PhotoCorral is a 64-bit Windows desktop photo catalogue, organiser and editing application.
Its features include catalogue management, Collections, date browsing, People recognition, Places, Semantic Search, metadata tools, viewing, editing, RAW development, export, printing and presentation features.
Features may vary between versions and may depend on the type of image, metadata, Windows components, connected device or other technical factors.
Product descriptions and website content
We try to keep PhotoCorral product descriptions, screenshots, documentation, pricing and system information accurate and current.
Screenshots and demonstrations may illustrate a particular version, catalogue or example workflow and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every photograph, device or workflow will produce identical results.
We may correct typographical errors, inaccurate information or outdated website content when discovered.
Check compatibility before purchase
PhotoCorral is designed for 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11. It is not currently a macOS application.
Before purchasing, you should review the PhotoCorral System Requirements .
Certain image formats, devices or workflows may depend on Windows components, codecs, available storage, connected-device access or compatible file metadata.
PhotoCorral’s normal Add to Catalog workflow creates managed catalogue copies while preserving source originals. Large photo collections and RAW libraries can therefore require substantial local storage space.
Prices, currency and taxes
The price shown on the PhotoCorral sales or checkout page at the time an order is placed is the price applicable to that transaction, subject to any correction required by law.
Prices may be changed for future purchases without affecting an order that has already been validly completed.
The checkout may display taxes, duties, currency conversion, transaction fees or other amounts where required or applicable.
Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may separately apply currency-conversion or transaction charges that are outside PhotoCorral’s control.
Orders and payment
When you submit an order, you agree that the information you provide for the transaction is accurate and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
Payment may be processed by a third-party ecommerce or payment provider. That provider may have its own terms and privacy policy.
An order may be declined, cancelled or held where payment is not authorised, fraud or security concerns arise, the transaction cannot be completed, or an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred.
Where payment has already been taken for an order that cannot be fulfilled, the relevant amount will be dealt with in accordance with applicable law and the payment or transaction process.
Digital delivery
PhotoCorral is supplied as a digital software product. No physical disc, box or printed manual is supplied unless expressly stated in the purchase offer.
After a successful purchase, access to the software may be provided through a download page, transaction confirmation, email, customer area or other electronic delivery method shown during checkout.
You are responsible for providing a valid email address where email delivery is used and for keeping any private download, licence or activation information secure.
Do not publish or share private software download links, licence credentials or activation information with unauthorised users.
Your right to use the software
Purchasing PhotoCorral does not transfer ownership of the PhotoCorral software or its intellectual property.
Instead, you receive a licence to use the software according to the PhotoCorral Software Licence .
The licence explains permitted use, restrictions, ownership, third-party components, activation, updates, termination and related software rights.
Your photographs and other content remain yours subject to whatever rights you have in that material.
Refunds, cancellations and consumer rights
Refund or cancellation rights may depend on applicable law, the nature of the digital product, whether digital delivery has begun, the purchase channel and any refund terms displayed at the time of purchase.
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any refund, remedy, guarantee or cancellation right that cannot legally be excluded.
If you believe there is a problem with your purchase or that you are entitled to a refund or other remedy, contact support@photocorral.app with the email address used for the order and enough information for us to identify the transaction.
If PhotoCorral is purchased through an authorised third-party marketplace, that marketplace may process the transaction and may require refund or cancellation requests to be made through its own system.
Updates and future versions
PhotoCorral may receive fixes, maintenance releases, improvements or other updates from time to time.
Unless expressly stated in the offer through which you purchased PhotoCorral, the purchase does not by itself guarantee that every future major version, upgrade or newly introduced feature will be supplied without additional charge.
We may modify, replace or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for compatibility, security, reliability, licensing or future development.
Support
PhotoCorral support resources are available through:
- the PhotoCorral Support page;
- the PhotoCorral 1.0.30 User’s Guide;
- the FAQ; and
- email support at support@photocorral.app.
Support is intended to assist with PhotoCorral itself. It does not include responsibility for repairing unrelated Windows problems, damaged storage devices or lost files where an appropriate independent backup was not maintained.
You are responsible for your files and how you use them
When using PhotoCorral, you are responsible for:
- maintaining independent backups of important photographs and files;
- protecting your Windows account and computer from unauthorised access;
- having sufficient rights to use photographs and other material you process;
- reviewing automatic recognition, search, metadata and editing results where accuracy matters;
- protecting private licence, download and transaction information; and
- using PhotoCorral in accordance with applicable laws and the Software Licence.
PhotoCorral can back up catalogue information and organisation, but your actual photograph files should also be protected through an appropriate independent backup system.
Acceptable use of photocorral.app
You may use the PhotoCorral website for lawful purposes related to learning about, purchasing, downloading, supporting or using PhotoCorral.
You must not knowingly:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, server or other systems;
- interfere with website security or normal operation;
- introduce malware, harmful code or automated abuse;
- scrape or copy protected website content in a manner that infringes our rights;
- misrepresent your identity in connection with fraud or abuse; or
- use the website for unlawful activity.
PhotoCorral content and branding
Unless otherwise stated, PhotoCorral software, branding, website design, original graphics, original documentation, text and other PhotoCorral-owned materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
You may view and use website information for normal personal or business evaluation of PhotoCorral, but you may not reproduce, republish or distribute substantial protected material as your own product without permission.
Third-party components and materials remain subject to their respective licences and ownership rights.
Third-party websites and services
The PhotoCorral website or checkout may use or link to third-party services such as hosting, email, payment processing, ecommerce, Windows components or other external resources.
Third-party services are operated under their own terms, privacy policies and technical systems.
A link to an external service does not mean PhotoCorral controls or guarantees every aspect of that service.
Software and website availability
We aim to provide a reliable website, download process and software experience, but no computer system, website or software product can be guaranteed to operate without interruption or error.
Subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded, we do not guarantee that:
- the website will always be available without interruption;
- every camera RAW format or connected device will be compatible;
- People recognition will identify every face correctly;
- Semantic Search will return every possible relevant photograph;
- automatic editing will be ideal for every image; or
- third-party Windows components will always remain available or unchanged.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PhotoCorral is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the website or software.
This includes losses caused by failure to maintain suitable backups, unauthorised use of licence information, incompatible hardware or software, or reliance on automated results without appropriate review.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies liability or rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded, restricted or modified.
Mandatory consumer and legal rights remain protected
These Terms are intended to operate together with applicable consumer-protection and other mandatory laws.
If applicable law gives you a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot be excluded by agreement, these Terms do not remove it.
If a provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the website, purchase process, PhotoCorral product, legal requirements or related services change.
The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be changed when these Terms are revised.
Terms that applied to a completed purchase will not be retroactively changed merely to remove mandatory rights that existed when the transaction was made.
