NEED A HAND?
START HERE.
Start with the User’s Guide and the quick checks below. If you still need help, send us the details and we’ll have a much clearer picture of what is happening on your Windows PC.
CHECK THE SIMPLE THINGS.
THEN CONTACT US.
Many questions can be answered immediately in the PhotoCorral User’s Guide. You can also use the Web Demo to review the main catalogue workflow without touching your own photographs.
Close PhotoCorral normally, reopen it and try the same action again.
Make sure the folder, drive, phone or camera you are using is still connected and accessible to Windows.
Write down the exact action you performed immediately before the problem appeared.
If PhotoCorral or Windows shows a warning, capture it before closing the message.
SIX USEFUL
FIRST CHECKS.
These checks cover the areas most likely to depend on Windows, connected storage or information outside PhotoCorral itself.
PhotoCorral is a 64-bit Windows desktop application. Make sure Windows has finished any pending restart and your storage devices appear normally.
External drives, folders and original source locations must be available to Windows before PhotoCorral can work with them.
For iPhone import, Windows must first recognise and gain access to the phone’s photo library. Keep the phone unlocked when needed.
HEIC and HEIF viewing depends on compatible Windows image-codec support being installed on the computer.
Catalogue Backup & Restore protects PhotoCorral’s catalogue and organisation. Your original photograph files need their own normal backup.
The User’s Guide covers importing, People, Places, Semantic Search, Adjust, backup, iPhone import, export, printing and other core workflows.
TELL US WHAT HAPPENED.
A useful support request gives us enough information to understand the problem without guessing. Include as much of the following as you reasonably can.
Email us.
Send us the details of the issue and include a screenshot whenever it helps explain what you are seeing.
The application interface supports English, Italian, French, German and Spanish.
